The company started trading in 1991 with the aim of providing a cost effective electronic engineering service to industry. The emphasis was, and still is, to provide solutions to client's problems. The service is tailored to the individual client so as to provide the correct mix of skills and disciplines to solve the specific problems presented by each project.

The original services offered covered the design and manufacture of custom electro-mechanical equipment and products. A number of projects were undertaken that covered a diverse range of industries. Many of the products were based around microprocessors, often linked to desktop PCs to provide high level control and data logging facilities. Naturally this necessitated the design of software for both embedded controllers and PCs.

Most businesses have problems they find difficult to solve by themselves. At Boa Systems we have been engineering solutions to our clients problems since 1991, and are looking forward to helping many more in the future.
